East York, PA (October 21, 2025) – Springettsbury Township Police have identified Timothy Frisby, 61, of Wrightsville, as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash on Route 30 eastbound near the Mount Zion Road exit. Officers were dispatched at 9:27 a.m. Monday and arrived to find a Chevrolet pickup truck on its roof with Frisby trapped inside. York Area United Fire & Rescue extricated him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Frisby was the sole occupant. Traffic on Route 30 eastbound was blocked during the response and has since reopened. The cause remains under investigation; anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. Russell Schauer at 717-757-3525. Our hearts go out to Mr. Frisby’s family and loved ones.
Your Rights After a Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash (PA)
Even in single-vehicle rollovers, families may have claims stemming from defective parts, roadway hazards, or negligent maintenance (e.g., tire, steering, guardrail, or shoulder issues). Pennsylvania’s wrongful death and survival statutes can allow recovery for funeral costs, loss of support/companionship, and estate damages. Preserving evidence quickly like vehicle data, dash/traffic camera footage, 911 logs, and scene measurements—can be critical.
