If you’ve been in an accident and you decide – I don’t want to go it alone and I do need a firm to stand by my side and walk me through this process and support me, how do you know what to ask? How do you make that choice?
Well, again it’s like anything else, a lot of this is common sense. You have a situation or something unfortunate happened to you. Usually if you’re hurt and it’s taking you from a situation of serenity, so to speak, to a very bad place. You may not have the income or you are at risk for losing your house or you have so many bills. It’s very unsettling. So I think you need to talk to people. You interview people. See what they know. They may not have much information but you can tell if someone being straight up with you and explaining the situation. You have to be comfortable because really it is a relationship that is going to be around for a while. It’s something you have to work hard at before you start.
