Colonie, NY (May 27, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle late Tuesday evening on Old Loudon Road in Colonie, prompting an urgent response from State Police and the Colonie Police Department.
At approximately 10:12 p.m., a southbound vehicle collided with the pedestrian, who was in the roadway. The pedestrian sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was immediately transported to Albany Medical Center, where they remain in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately after the collision, providing aid to the pedestrian and cooperating fully with authorities. A bystander contacted emergency services to report the incident.
