Paradise Township, PA – Driver Airlifted After Rollover Crash on Woodland Dr

Crews cut roof off truck

Paradise Township, PA (November 12, 2025) – A driver was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday night after a serious rollover crash on Woodland Drive in Paradise Township, according to Northeast Adams Fire and EMS.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on 12th Nov, 2025, when a pickup truck rolled onto its side and came to rest against several trees, trapping the driver inside. Officials said the fire chief came upon the wreck, immediately called 911, and used ratchet straps found at the scene to stabilize the overturned vehicle and reach the driver.

Responding crews removed the truck’s roof to free the trapped individual. The driver was then flown by medical helicopter to York Hospital for treatment. Their current condition has not yet been released.

Photos from the scene show the pickup lying on its side with significant damage. The cause of the rollover remains under investigation.

Rollover Crashes and Trapped Victims in Pennsylvania

Rollover collisions often result in crushing injuries, entrapment, and prolonged rescue operations. These crashes can stem from excessive speed, mechanical failure, roadway defects, or loss of vehicle control. Pennsylvania law allows injured victims to pursue compensation for medical bills, lost income, and long-term impacts if negligence contributed to the crash.

A skilled Pennsylvania injury lawyer can examine vehicle dynamics, road conditions, and potential third-party liability, critical steps when serious injuries require helicopter transport or extensive extrication.
