Chili, NY (August 20, 2025) – A driver was killed in a crash on Battle Green Drive in Chili early Wednesday morning. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a 2013 pick-up truck was heading south when he veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

Deputies believe the driver may have suffered a medical event before the crash. Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the incident. The name of the victim has not been released as of yet.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash.
