Yeadon, PA (December 29, 2025) โ Authorities in Delaware County are searching for a driver who fled the scene after striking a local firefighter Monday evening. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on the 600 block of Church Lane in Yeadon.
The victim, identified as a male in his 30s and a member of the Yeadon Fire Company, was reportedly on or near the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver involved did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the area. Emergency responders treated the firefighter at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. While his current condition has not been updated by officials, the Yeadon Police Department is actively reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses to identify the make and model of the fleeing vehicle.
