Greece, NY (June 01, 2025) – A tragic accident on June 2, 2025, at approximately 5:04 p.m., resulted in the death of a 79-year-old motorcyclist in the town of Greece, Monroe County. The New York State Police responded to the scene of the collision, which occurred on Lake Ontario State Parkway westbound.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a deer entered the westbound lane, colliding with the 2003 Honda motorcycle. The force of the impact ejected the motorcyclist, who was then transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.

AMR Ambulance and the Lakeshore Fire Department assisted in the response to the incident.
