Upper Leacock Township, PA (November 5, 2025) – One person was hospitalized early Wednesday morning on 5th Nov, 2025, after a single-vehicle crash brought down a utility pole in Upper Leacock Township, according to the Upper Leacock Fire Company.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on West Eby Road around 6:24 a.m., where they found a heavily damaged vehicle that had veered off the roadway and come to rest in a nearby field. The impact caused the utility pole to fall, pulling wires across the street and forcing officials to close the road temporarily.
The driver, who has not been identified, was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Their condition has not yet been released. PPL crews later arrived to repair the pole and clear the scene.
Authorities are investigating what caused the crash, including whether speed, distraction, or poor visibility contributed.
