Penfield, NY (July 05, 2025) – A 29-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night on Plank Road near Jackson Road, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. when a 23-year-old male driver struck the woman while she was walking alongside the road. Emergency crews arrived quickly, and the woman was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Plank Road, Jackson Road, and Shoecraft Road in the Penfield area.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, but no criminal charges have been filed to date.
