Montour, NY (September 19, 2025) – Thomas Gaylor, 57, was killed Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Mitchell Hollow Road in the Town of Montour, Schuyler County. The accident occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. on September 16, 2025, according to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office.

Gaylor was driving a white 2014 Honda when he lost control and crashed along the roadway. Law enforcement reports indicate that speed was a contributing factor in the fatal collision. Gaylor was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not reported any other vehicles involved. The crash prompted an emergency response and investigation while the scene was secured.
