Three injured after juvenile driver falls asleep

Upper Allen Township, PA (November 16, 2025) – Three juveniles were injured early Sunday morning when a young driver fell asleep at the wheel and struck a utility pole on the 1200 block of East Lisburn Road, according to the Upper Allen Township Police Department.

Police say the crash happened around 5:54 a.m., when the juvenile operator veered off the roadway and hit a pole on the left shoulder. The driver and two juvenile passengers were all injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
