Crews from Evans City and Harmony District responded to the scene of the crash. Responders found two people in need of transport and took them to UPMC Cranberry for treatment of unknown injuries.

Understanding Multi-Crash Liability in Pennsylvania
Multi-vehicle accidents, such as this collision on Evans City Road, involve multiple drivers and introduce issues of shared fault. Pennsylvania uses a modified comparative negligence rule. This means that multiple parties can share the blame, but a victim can only recover damages if they are found 50% or less at fault for causing the crash.
To secure compensation, an investigation is needed to determine how each driver contributed to the crash chain. Evidence, including the police report, witness statements, and vehicle data, must be gathered to correctly assign responsibility among all involved parties.
