Northampton County, PA (December 14, 2025) – Two people were rescued and taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash that resulted in a car overturning into a wooded area in East Allen Township, Northampton County, late Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Airport Road and Locust Road. Emergency officials and first responders successfully extricated the two occupants who were trapped inside the overturned vehicle.
The victims were transported to the hospital for treatment, but are reportedly expected to be okay. Pennsylvania State Police are on the scene and continuing to investigate the cause that led the vehicle to overturn.
Analyzing Potential Liability in Single-Vehicle Rollovers
While it is positive that the victims are expected to recover, the cause of a single-vehicle rollover, especially one occurring late at night, must be thoroughly investigated to determine if there are grounds for a personal injury claim. Because this accident involved an overturned vehicle in a wooded area, the investigation will focus heavily on driver actions such as distracted driving, drowsy driving, or speeding.
