Brooklyn, NY (October 14, 2025) – An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Brooklyn on Monday evening, according to the NYPD. The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. on 13th October, 2025, near 2183 Ocean Parkway.
Police say a 2026 Acura Integra traveling northbound on Ocean Parkway toward Avenue V struck the child, who was riding a scooter. The vehicle fled the scene and was later found abandoned near 1801 Ocean Parkway. Emergency responders transported the boy to Maimonides Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
In addition, a 25-year-old man was injured by debris from the crash and was also taken to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. The NYPD is actively investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made at this time.
