Brooklyn, NY (October 20, 2025) – A 22-year-old motorcyclist and a 28-year-old passenger were killed late Sunday night after a high-speed crash in Sheepshead Bay, according to the NYPD. The driver involved fled the scene and remains at large.
The fatal collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. on 19th October, 2025, near Shore Parkway and East 7th Street. Investigators said a white Mercedes and a motorcycle were exiting the Belt Parkway at high speed when they collided, striking three parked cars in the process.
Emergency responders arrived to find both vehicles heavily damaged. The Mercedes had flipped onto its roof, while the motorcycle was crushed nearby. The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man, and a 28-year-old passenger inside the Mercedes were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the Mercedes fled on foot after the crash and has not yet been located. The NYPD Highway Patrol is leading the investigation to determine the circumstances that caused the deadly collision.
Family members of one of the victims arrived at the scene early Monday morning but declined to comment publicly.
