Albany, NY (October 1, 2025) – Police are investigating a deadly crash on Everett Road near the I-90 exit ramp in Albany that occurred Tuesday evening.
Officers responding around 5:45 p.m., September 30th, 2025, found a 34-year-old man suffering from traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are withholding the victim’s name until proper family notifications are completed.
Preliminary reports indicate that the man was exiting I-90 onto Everett Road when he was struck by a northbound vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, a 29-year-old man, showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody. He was transported to Albany Medical Center and will face charges once medically cleared.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, and police are reviewing the circumstances that led to the fatal collision.
