Rochester, NY (September 18, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 104 in northeast Rochester left a 60-year-old woman seriously injured and a 29-year-old man with minor injuries on Tuesday, 16th September, 2025. The incident occurred when a westbound vehicle attempted to run a red light and collided with a northbound car.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, providing medical aid on-site before transporting the injured to Strong Memorial Hospital for further evaluation. The female passenger in the westbound car sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the northbound vehicle suffered minor upper-body injuries and also received hospital care.
Authorities noted that traffic signal violations contributed to the collision and are investigating the incident. Rochester police emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic laws to prevent similar accidents in the area.
