Syracuse, NY (August 11, 2025) – A 7-year-old boy was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Monday afternoon on Almond Street, near the intersection of Jackson and East Adams Street in Syracuse. The collision occurred around 3:00 p.m. near Wilson Park.

Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene and transported the boy to Upstate University Hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.

The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities as they investigate the crash.
