New Hartford, NY (September 3, 2025) – 88-year-old Jacqueline Girvan of New Hartford died following a single-car crash on Tamarack Drive on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 4:50 p.m., when Girvan’s vehicle left the roadway, traveled over the front lawns of several residences, and struck a tree. Girvan, the only occupant of the car, was transported to Wynn Hospital and later pronounced dead from the injuries sustained.
The New Hartford Police Department and Fire Department are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this time, no additional injuries have been reported.
Authorities have stated that further details will be provided once the investigation is complete.
