Beaver County, PA (October 27, 2025) – Abdirahman Farah, 35, of Ohio, was tragically killed early Sunday morning in a crash involving a semi-truck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Beaver County, according to the Beaver County Coroner’s Office.

Emergency crews responded quickly, and the Beaver County Coroner pronounced Farah deceased at the scene. His cause of death was ruled accidental.
The crash caused lane restrictions for several hours as investigators worked to clear the scene and document evidence. All lanes have since been reopened to traffic.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision, and the Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
Understanding Liability in Semi-Truck Collisions
Crashes involving tractor-trailers or commercial vehicles often result in catastrophic injuries or fatalities due to their size and weight. Determining liability can be complex, as multiple parties may be responsible, including the truck driver, trucking company, or maintenance contractor. In Pennsylvania, surviving family members may be entitled to file a wrongful death claim to recover compensation for funeral expenses, lost income, and emotional suffering.
If a loved one has been lost in a trucking accident, consulting a Pennsylvania tractor-trailer accident lawyer can help ensure that negligent parties are held accountable and that your family’s rights are protected.
