East Rochester, NY (October 16, 2025) – A two-car crash on Fairport Road near Roosevelt Road in East Rochester led to the arrest of a driver for driving while intoxicated on Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred around 7:45 p.m. on 15th October, 2025, when one of the vehicles collided with another. The driver of the intoxicated vehicle, who sustained minor injuries, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Following a medical evaluation, the driver was arrested for DWI (Driving While Intoxicated).
Authorities confirmed that Fairport Road has since been reopened, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. No other serious injuries were reported.
