Solvay, NY (October 5, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Friday afternoon, 3rd October, 2025, to a multi-vehicle crash in Solvay that left one driver trapped in an overturned car. The vehicle had collided with at least two other cars before flipping over.
Firefighters arrived promptly and, within 21 minutes from dispatch, successfully removed the driver who was trapped under the dashboard and steering wheel. In total, 15 Solvay firefighters worked at the scene, providing treatment and evaluation for three additional individuals who sustained minor injuries.
The crash caused temporary traffic disruptions while crews managed vehicle hazards and stabilized the scene. All emergency operations were completed within 35 minutes.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
