Geneva, NY – Elderly Couple Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Bricher Road

Geneva, NY (September 5, 2025) – An elderly couple tragically died in a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon on Bricher Road near Fisher Drive in west suburban Geneva.

The crash occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m., when a 2020 BMW X3 SUV traveling eastbound struck a 2005 Toyota Corolla attempting to turn westbound onto Bricher Road from Fisher Drive. The impact caused the BMW to veer into a wooded area and catch fire.

Authorities confirmed both occupants of the Toyota were pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders and fire crews attended the scene to secure the area and extinguish the fire.

Geneva Police are investigating the cause of the collision, reviewing factors such as vehicle speed, driver error, and road conditions.
