Fermanagh Township, PA (October 29, 2025) – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash that left vehicles demolished and one driver trapped in Juniata County, according to the Mifflintown Hose Company.
The crash occurred around 2:38 p.m. at the intersection of Route 35 and South Ridge Road in Fermanagh Township. A van and two cars were involved, with two of the vehicles colliding head-on.
Firefighters arrived to find the van driver trapped inside the wreckage. Using hydraulic rescue tools, crews removed the roof and driver’s side door to safely free the driver within 12 minutes. Both the driver and the passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Officials said both victims are expected to recover. No one in the other two cars was hurt. Photos from the scene show crushed vehicles and extensive debris along the roadway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
