Jennifer Kirkpatrick-24-Arrested for DWI After Fatal E-Bike Collision

Melville, Suffolk County, NY (October 26, 2025) – Jennifer Kirkpatrick, 24, of Suffolk County, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) after her car collided with an e-bike rider early Saturday morning, resulting in the rider’s death.

The crash occurred at approximately 1:06 a.m. on Bagatelle Road, near the intersection with Eastbound Express Drive South in Melville, Suffolk County. According to police, Kirkpatrick was driving a 2018 Subaru Forester southbound on Bagatelle Road when she attempted to make a left turn and struck the e-bike rider, who was traveling northbound on a Razor fly-wing e-bike.

The e-bike rider was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Kirkpatrick was arrested at the scene and charged with DWI. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
