Pavilion, NY (October 9, 2025) – Larry D. Singer, 70, of Leicester, NY, was pronounced dead following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in the town of Pavilion, Genesee County.
According to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Singer was driving a Chrysler south on South Street Road when he failed to yield the right of way to a westbound propane delivery truck. The truck struck Singer’s vehicle at approximately 1:57 p.m. on the 8th Ocotber, 2025. Singer’s car hit a utility pole and came to rest off the north shoulder of Route 20, while the truck overturned on its side off the south shoulder.
Emergency responders, including New York State Police, NYSDEC Police, Le Roy and Pavilion police, Le Roy firefighters, and Mercy EMS, assisted at the scene. The Genesee County Coroner’s Office pronounced Singer dead on site.
The Sheriff’s Office Crash Management Team is investigating the cause of the collision.
