Moreau, NY (October 8, 2025) – A truck transporting sand overturned Wednesday, 8th October, 2025, on the southbound lanes of the Northway near Exit 17N in Moreau, causing temporary lane closures and minor injuries.
The crash also impacted ramp traffic for Route 9. New York State Police confirmed that the injuries sustained were minor. Emergency responders quickly assisted those involved and worked to clear the roadway.
All lanes in the area were reopened by 4:45 p.m., and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the crash.
