Amherst, NY (September 15, 2025) – A Buffalo man suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon in a collision involving a motorcycle and a Jeep Wrangler on Main Street in Amherst.
The crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. on September 14, 2025, when a 32-year-old man was riding a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound, and a 50-year-old Buffalo woman driving a 2016 Jeep Wrangler attempted to turn left onto northbound Callodine Avenue, entering the path of the motorcycle. The vehicles collided, ejecting the motorcyclist from the bike.
Emergency personnel responded immediately and transported the injured rider to Erie County Medical Center with serious head and hand injuries. Police confirmed that he is currently in stable condition. The Jeep driver and her passenger were not injured in the crash.
Authorities have reopened all roadways in the area. Amherst Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are requesting witnesses or anyone with dash cam or security footage to contact the department at 716-689-1311.
