Niskayuna, NY (September 17, 2025) – A 25-year-old man from Latham, identified as Christopher Reith, was killed Monday evening after a crash involving his motorcycle and a car on Route 7 near Algonquin Road in Niskayuna.
The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m., 15th September 2025, when Reith collided with a car while traveling on Route 7. Emergency responders transported him to Ellis Hospital with serious injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the car was also taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Niskayuna Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash. Authorities are urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to contact Detective Daly at (518) 386-4582.
