Rochester, NY (October 4, 2025) – Two separate vehicle crashes on I-590 South near the Blossom Road exit caused significant traffic congestion on Friday morning. The incidents occurred around 7 a.m., 3rd October, 2025, and authorities say one crash may have contributed to the other.
Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene to provide assistance. No serious injuries were reported, but one person was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office closed the left two lanes temporarily to manage traffic and ensure safety. The roadway has since reopened, and normal traffic flow has resumed.
Authorities are reviewing the circumstances that led to the crashes to determine the cause.
