Richmond Township, PA (October 28, 2025) – A fatal multi-vehicle crash on Route 222 on Monday morning, 27th October, 2025, claimed one life and left several others injured, according to the Fleetwood Police Department.
Emergency crews responded to the scene near the Kutztown Road overpass around 10:52 a.m., where officers found three vehicles involved, one of which had flipped off the bridge after a violent collision.
Fleetwood Police Chief Dale Ulshafer confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene and multiple others sustained injuries, including several in critical condition.
Investigators said that a southbound vehicle crossed the grassy median into the oncoming northbound lanes, striking two other vehicles. The car that crossed over sustained the most severe impact and was found overturned below the overpass.
