Brooklyn, NY (August 10, 2025) – A serious crash occurred Sunday at the intersection of Bushwick Ave and Highland Blvd in East New York, leaving one person trapped inside their vehicle. Firefighters and paramedics worked quickly to extricate the individual, providing on-site medical care before transporting them to a nearby hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.

At least two vehicles were involved in the collision, and emergency crews temporarily closed lanes to allow for safe access to the scene. Investigators are reviewing evidence and witness statements to determine what led to the crash. The condition of the trapped individual has not been updated.
