Pedestrian Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash

Philadelphia, PA (November 16, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured Sunday afternoon after being struck during a three-vehicle crash along City Avenue near Rockland Road and Trent Road, according to emergency dispatch reports.

Crews were called around 4:51 p.m. on 16th Nov, 2025, for a report of a pedestrian down in the roadway with significant back pain. Responders arrived to find the victim lying on the roadway while drivers and passengers from the involved vehicles were conscious and mobile. Paramedics treated the pedestrian on scene before transporting them for further evaluation. Authorities have not released the individual’s age or updated condition.

Fire, EMS, and police units secured the roadway and checked the involved vehicles for hazards while investigators interviewed drivers, witnesses, and reviewed nearby surveillance options. The circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation, including whether distraction, speed, or driver error contributed.

Pedestrian Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crashes

When a pedestrian is struck during a multi-vehicle collision, liability can fall on one or multiple drivers depending on how the chain of events unfolded. These crashes often produce complex insurance questions, especially when several parties share fault. Injured pedestrians may be entitled to damages for medical care, lost wages, and long-term pain or mobility issues. An attorney can help gather evidence early, analyze traffic footage, and protect the victim’s rights throughout the claims process.
