Newfield, NY (October 7, 2025) – Shaquille M. Stuttle, 31, of Newfield, NY, was killed Sunday in a two-car collision at the intersection of West Danby Road (NYS Route 34/96) and Decker Road.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 11:13 a.m. October 5th, 2025, Stuttle was driving a 2020 Honda CR-V eastbound on Decker Road when he attempted to cross West Danby Road and entered the path of a southbound 2019 Toyota 4-Runner. The Toyota struck the driver’s side door of the Honda, causing both vehicles to end up in a yard on the east side of West Danby Road.
The driver of the Toyota 4-Runner was transported by Guthrue Air Medevac to a trauma center and has since been released.
The New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash, and the final determinations are pending further review.
