Rochester, NY (August 29, 2025) – Three people were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a two-car collision at the intersection of University Avenue and East Boulevard in Rochester. The crash occurred around 10:40 a.m.

According to Rochester Police, the driver of a gray Subaru caused the collision by turning left onto East Boulevard and failing to yield to a Mitsubishi. The driver and two passengers of the Mitsubishi were injured but are expected to recover.

The driver of the Subaru, 65, was cited for failing to yield. Emergency responders promptly provided care and ensured the injured were transported safely to a nearby hospital.
