Hit-and-Run Accidents in New York City
Victims of hit-and-run crashes face added challenges when the responsible driver flees the scene. Under New York law, injured parties may still recover damages through uninsured motorist coverage or by identifying the at-fault driver through police investigations. Compensation may include medical expenses, lost income, and pain and suffering.
An experienced NY personal injury lawyer can assist victims in working with law enforcement, filing insurance claims, and pursuing justice through civil action.
