Bridgeville, PA (October 16, 2025) – A deadly crash early Monday morning on Interstate 79 near the Bridgeville rest stop claimed the life of 29-year-old Travis Brown and left his female passenger seriously injured.
At around 3 a.m., 13th October, 2025, police responded to a collision involving Brown’s SUV, which struck a tractor-trailer parked on the right shoulder of the highway. The force of the crash caused the SUV to spin out of control, colliding with another parked truck before coming to a stop.
Travis Brown, the driver of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, though they are not believed to be life-threatening.
Fortunately, no one inside the two parked trucks was injured.
