Binghamton, NY (August 20, 2025) – Four people, including two children, were injured in a vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Route 363, also known as the Brandywine Highway, in Binghamton. The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. in the southbound lanes on a bridge over Robinson Street.
City police officers and fire department medics responded quickly, requesting four ambulances to assist the injured. Emergency crews from Binghamton Fire Department, Superior Ambulance, and Chenango Ambulance Services arrived at the scene.
Initial reports indicated that two adults and two children appeared to be unconscious in the vehicle. All four individuals were transported to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment.
Southbound traffic on Route 363 was temporarily diverted onto Frederick Street, with vehicles rerouted along Liberty Street to Robinson Street, causing slow traffic in the area. A small crowd gathered near Prince Deli to observe emergency crews at work.
