Bethlehem, PA – Two Hospitalized After Motorcycle-Car Collision on Pembroke Rd

Two injured in motorcycle-car collision in Bethlehem

Bethlehem, PA (October 30, 2025) – Two people were injured, including a motorcyclist, following a head-on collision in Bethlehem on Wednesday evening, according to local authorities.

The crash occurred just before 5:30 p.m. on 29th October, 2025, at the intersection of Pembroke Road and Livingston Street, officials said. A preliminary investigation revealed that a car attempting to turn onto Livingston Street collided with a motorcycle traveling along Pembroke Road, causing significant front-end damage to both vehicles.

Northampton County Communications confirmed that both the motorcyclist and the driver of the car were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been released.

Police cordoned off the area for several hours as Bethlehem Police conducted their on-scene investigation. Authorities have not yet determined whether factors such as speed or driver distraction contributed to the crash.

Motorcycle Collisions and Right-of-Way Violations

Motorcycle accidents frequently occur when drivers fail to yield while turning, as motorcycles are smaller and less visible to oncoming traffic. In Pennsylvania, motorists are required to ensure the intersection is clear before turning. Failure to yield to an oncoming vehicle can result in serious injury or liability for negligence.

Victims of motorcycle crashes often face extensive medical costs, lost wages, and long-term recovery. Consulting an experienced Pennsylvania personal injury lawyer can help ensure the responsible party is held accountable and that victims receive the compensation they deserve for their injuries and suffering.
