Evans, NY (October 15, 2025) – Two individuals were injured in a crash on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Route 5 and South Creek Road in the Town of Evans.
The crash occurred around 2:20 p.m. on 14th October, 2025, prompting an emergency response from the Town of Evans Police Department. According to authorities, one person was airlifted to ECMC via Mercy Flight, while the second victim was transported by ambulance. The severity of their injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
Due to the crash, Route 5 was closed in both directions from approximately 2:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. as emergency personnel worked to clear the scene.
The names of the victims have not been released, and the crash remains under investigation by the Town of Evans Police Department.
