Columbia, PA (October 14, 2025) – A car crash in Lancaster County left a woman hospitalized Monday morning after her vehicle struck a home on North Third Street near Cedar Street, just south of Route 30.
According to authorities, the vehicle ended up nose down against the home and was left dangling from overhead utility wires, while a utility pole was sheared off. Columbia Borough Fire Department responded promptly, extricating the female driver from the car. She was transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. The severity of her injuries has not yet been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The Columbia Borough Fire Department requested that residents and motorists avoid the area while first responders and utility crews secured the scene.
