Bensalem, PA – Brooklyn Man Killed, Two Passengers Critical in Fiery I-95 Ramp Crash

Bensalem, PA (February 4, 2026) – A high-speed collision at a major highway interchange in Bucks County left one man dead and two others fighting for their lives early Tuesday morning, February 3, 2026. The three-vehicle accident occurred at midnight at the intersection of Street Road and the ramps for Interstate 95.

Bensalem Police report that a 2013 Chevy Sonic, driven by 44-year-old Timur Khabelov of Brooklyn, New York, was traveling eastbound on Street Road at a high rate of speed. The Sonic failed to stop for a red light and struck a 2017 Dodge Journey that was exiting I-95. The impact sent the Sonic airborne across the center median, where it collided with a 2015 Honda Accord stopped in the westbound lanes before bursting into flames.

Mr. Khabelov was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the Sonic, identified as 43-year-old Farruh Homidov and 39-year-old Askar Narziev, were pulled from the burning wreckage by responders and transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition. The drivers of the Dodge and Honda were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators confirmed the entire sequence was captured on Bensalem Township police intersection cameras.

Car Accident in Pennsylvania

High-speed collisions at major interchanges often lead to complex multi-vehicle litigation involving severe trauma and wrongful death. Under Pennsylvania law, victims and their families have the right to pursue a recovery for medical expenses, long-term care, and the profound loss of companionship. Pennsylvania operates under a “modified comparative fault” system, which allows an injured party to recover damages as long as their share of the blame is 50% or less.

In cases involving high speeds or potential impairment, establishing a precise timeline of events is essential. Legal representation provides critical oversight during the investigative process, ensuring that time-sensitive evidence—such as the Bensalem intersection camera footage and vehicle “black box” data—is preserved and professionally analyzed. Hiring a Pennsylvania auto accident lawyer is vital for protecting the rights of passengers and other motorists who are often the innocent victims of another driver’s negligence.

Pennsylvania’s legal deadlines are strict and require immediate attention. While the general statute of limitations for personal injury and wrongful death is two years, delay can lead to the loss of digital evidence or witness clarity. Furthermore, if road conditions or signal malfunctions contributed to the crash, a formal notice of claim against a government entity may be required within just six months. Taking action early is a necessary step to protect your rights and ensure your family is treated fairly by insurance carriers.
