Pavilion, NY (October 25, 2025) – A rear-end collision occurred Friday morning when a car struck a school bus that was stopped at the railroad tracks in Pavilion, Genesee County.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 7:20 a.m. on 24th October, 2025, on Route 63, where a Keshequa High School bus was waiting for the train. Deputies confirmed that the car rear-ended the bus, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. Deputies ticketed the driver of the car involved in the crash.

Your Rights After a School Bus Accident

Even when no injuries occur, accidents involving school buses can create significant emotional and logistical complications for families.
