Corinth, NY (May 22, 2026) – Joan Meyer, 84, of Lake Luzerne, was killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle head-on crash when her 2018 Jeep Compass crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on May 22 on State Route 9N near Antone Mountain Road in the town of Corinth. Investigators said Meyer’s Jeep crossed into the opposing lane and struck the Silverado traveling in the opposite direction. Meyer was transported to Saratoga Hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The driver of the Silverado was transported to Albany Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
