Atlantic Beach, NY – Job Giuliana (30) Charged with DWI, Vehicular Assault of 11-Year-Old

Job Giuliana (30) Charged with DWI

Atlantic Beach, NY (December 10, 2025) – A Brentwood man faces multiple felony charges, including Vehicular Assault, after a head-on collision on Wednesday night in Atlantic Beach seriously injured an 11-year-old boy and three adults.

The crash occurred on Beech Street near Scott Drive. Nassau County police said 30-year-old Job Giuliana was driving a Chevy Equinox eastbound when he struck a westbound Chevy Traverse driven by a 52-year-old man carrying a 49-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy.

The 11-year-old boy sustained severe body trauma and was airlifted along with his mother to Cohen’s Children’s Hospital in Manhasset. Giuliana suffered a severe leg injury and was also hospitalized, where he was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested.

Giuliana is charged with second-degree vehicular assault, second-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and second-degree reckless endangerment. His arraignment is pending his medical release.

Understanding Felony Charges and Civil Liability in New York DWI Crashes

The charges filed against Job Giuliana, particularly Vehicular Assault in the Second Degree (a Class E felony in New York), are significant. This charge applies because the intoxicated driver caused a collision that resulted in a serious physical injury to another person, specifically the 11-year-old boy who suffered severe body trauma and required air transport. The fact that multiple people were injured, including a child passenger, may also be considered an aggravating factor in the criminal case.
