Question: People love this time in the summer Joe, especially in this part of the world. You’ve got to get a lot in in a little amount of time. So you’ve got boating and 4 wheelers. A lot of recreation is happening in and around the water and swimming pools. What are the things people should be mindful of when they are out enjoying the summer fun?
Joe: It’s like anything else, common sense. I tell everybody, you keep your house safe, you keep your car safe and you keep your boats and everything else safe. The most likely person to be hurt is you or your family because you are the ones that use it. That being said, you should also make sure that you have adequate insurance that covers you if you have a pool or that your boat and ATV are insured. They are supposed to be but that doesn’t happen all the time. You want to make sure whatever recreational activity you do, you are using the proper equipment and that you are safe because again, the most important people are you and your family. You want to take care of those precious commodities.
